[Given the general consensus that Matthew wrote his gospel with a Jewish audience in mind, does it makes more sense for a Bible Scholar to attempt to use knowledge of second-temple rabbinical genre to to try to shed light on the raising of the saints in Mt. 27 or to use some Roman authors of a pagan genre to try to cast doubt on it?]
